Slut shaming is super fun. Also, since when is owning a sex toy at all slutty? I was asked a question about sex toys. I’ve written reviews of them before. Oh whatever.

But further what amuses me is that this person thinks they may be doing me a favor: “you know that right.” OMG THANKS. I thought answering a question openly and honestly about sex toys was totally normal behavior. Now that you mention it, you’re right I AM A SLUT. And what the fuck is wrong with that?

I’m not saying this person isn’t an asshole, but your calling them a prude is just as bad as their calling you a slut. As someone who’s been called a prude more times than I can count, I can assure you that “prudes” (ie people who are abstinent, don’t use sex toys, or just generally consider sex a less prominent focus of their lives), are not all passive-agressive assholes abusing the anonymity of the Internet.
